Warning of fake tourism advertising at Phu Quoc National Park

Mr. Huynh Van Tien, Deputy Director of Phu Quoc National Park, said that the Park would like to inform all organizations and individuals who want to visit and travel to the Park to be vigilant and avoid tricks of fake consulting, collecting money, and defrauding tourists to appropriate money.

When the National Park has a policy to develop eco-tourism in the Park, there will be an official announcement from the unit to organizations and individuals traveling to Phu Quoc.

Organizations, individuals, businesses, and tourist establishments with requests should contact directly the Center for Ecotourism and Wildlife Rescue, Phu Quoc National Park for clear explanations and instructions.

Recently, on the internet, there have been advertisements for sightseeing and tourism in Phu Quoc National Park, consulting on ticket prices for tourist attractions in the National Park, collecting ticket fees and registering for tours.

This is incorrect information, Phu Quoc National Park has no policy and has not organized tours or tourism in the Park. Up to now, Phu Quoc National Park has not received any organizations or individuals to visit.

Kien Giang province authorities recommend that people and tourists carefully research information about tourism and accommodation service providers before booking services and making payments.

Tourists and residents should book services on official websites and fanpages of tourism service businesses provided by local tourism management agencies or through reputable service booking platforms to avoid being scammed by bad guys.
