During its first visit to Cam Ranh International Port, Asia's largest cruise ship carried nearly 4,800 tourists from many countries who disembarked to visit destinations in Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa. This is the largest number of tourists disembarking to visit Khanh Hoa recorded since the beginning of the year. According to the Khanh Hoa Department of Tourism, after docking at Cam Ranh International Port, tourists participated in tours to visit Nha Trang city, tours of Nha Trang city suburbs, tours to visit Nha Trang city by cyclo, tours to visit Cai River and countryside. The organizer also arranged shuttle bus services from Cam Ranh International Port to resorts in Cam Ranh so that tourists can freely choose to visit other destinations. In 2024, Khanh Hoa welcomed 28 international cruise ships with 57,816 tourists coming ashore, marking the spectacular return of cruise tourism. Although Nha Trang Port had to temporarily stop receiving international cruise ships, with the efforts of the tourism industry, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee and units and businesses, cruise ships continued to be transferred to Cam Ranh International Port.
