
On the morning of March 28, comrade Tran Van Quyet, Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Cam Giang District, had a dialogue with young people and women in the district. This was the first meeting and dialogue in 2025 of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Cam Giang District.
There were over 20 written opinions and recommendations sent to the organizing committee before the conference and many opinions were expressed directly at the dialogue. Cadres, women's union members, and youth union members expressed many opinions and recommendations on the fields of environment, agriculture, rural areas, and policies on orientation, vocational training for young people, security and order in areas where many workers rent houses...

Notably, the opinions of female cadres and members reflected that waste classification at source is not uniform, in some places waste is mixed, causing difficulties in treatment; pollution at landfills has not been thoroughly treated, affecting production and people's health...
Regarding this issue, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Cam Giang district has assigned the district's Department of Agriculture and Environment to clarify. Accordingly, currently, the government, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations have implemented the collection, classification and treatment of domestic solid waste. However, the implementation in many places is not uniform.
To overcome the above situation, the District People's Committee has proposed the Provincial People's Committee to have mechanisms and preferential policies to support organizations and individuals to participate in investing, providing collection, transportation and treatment services for domestic solid waste in accordance with the socio-economic development conditions of the locality. Complete regulations and instructions on source classification to serve as a basis for localities to implement; provide technical guidance on construction, management and operation of domestic solid waste transfer stations; pilot the program of collecting and classifying waste at source in Cam Van commune, as a basis for replication in communes and towns in the district.
Actively promote and provide guidance to improve the capacity of local authorities and organizations participating in the collection, transportation and treatment of waste; provide trash bins, microorganisms, and funds for environmental protection activities...

At the meeting and dialogue, Chairman of Cam Giang District People's Committee Tran Van Quyet and a number of officials from the district's departments and offices answered questions and recommendations from officials, women's union members and youth.
