(NLDO)- The People's Committee of Nha Trang City, Khanh Hoa Province issued a decision to ban vehicles with more than 29 seats from entering the city center during rush hour, including vehicles with tourist badges.
Vehicles with more than 29 seats are prohibited from entering Nha Trang city center, including vehicles with tourist badges, every day from 6:30 to 7:30 and from 16:30 to 18:30.
The restricted area for passenger vehicles with more than 29 seats to enter the center of Nha Trang City is calculated from the East of Le Hong Phong Street to Tran Phu Street and from the South of Cai River to the North of Binh Tan Bridge.
This decision takes effect from December 20.
Nha Trang often has traffic jams.
Nha Trang City People's Committee assigned the Urban Management Department to organize the adjustment of the road sign system; coordinate with Nha Trang City Police and relevant agencies to implement traffic flow regulations according to this decision.
Nha Trang City Police have developed a plan to organize mobile patrol teams to guide vehicles to comply with the above traffic regulations and strictly punish those who intentionally violate them.
Previously, the Lao Dong Newspaper reported on the confusion of Nha Trang tourism due to traffic jams. The Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee issued a document agreeing in principle to ban all passenger cars with more than 29 seats, including vehicles with tourist badges, from entering the center of Nha Trang City during rush hours.
