According to the announcement of the Hanoi Department of Transport, due to the impact of storm No. 3 (storm Yagi), the provinces and cities in the northern region continued to experience heavy rain, causing hydroelectric plants to discharge floodwaters, leading to rising water levels in rivers in Hanoi.
To ensure traffic safety on inland waterways, the Hanoi Department of Transport has announced that ships and boats are prohibited from operating on the Day River, Ca Lo River, Yen Stream, Suoi Hai Lake... from September 11 until further notice; vehicles serving flood and storm prevention work are operating normally.

Hanoi Department of Transport requests the Traffic Inspectorate to develop a plan, arrange Traffic Inspectorate forces and rescue vehicles to ensure traffic safety 24/7 on local inland waterways, ensuring traffic safety; Regularly monitor and evaluate the traffic situation... on local inland waterways and neighboring areas to promptly detect and propose appropriate traffic organization plans to ensure traffic safety.
Request the Hanoi Traffic Police Department to direct its affiliated agencies and units to coordinate with the Department of Transport to guide traffic flow and regulate traffic for vehicles participating in traffic on inland waterways in accordance with the flood and inundation situation in the above area, to prevent traffic safety and traffic congestion from occurring.
