Director of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City Nguyen Van Hieu has just sent a document to the People's Committee of Thu Duc City and districts on instructions for verifying information about place of residence to serve the work of reviewing data on enrollment for grades 1 and 6 in the 2025-2026 school year.

The Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City requested the People's Committee of Thu Duc City and districts to direct the Department of Education and Training and enrollment units to seriously apply electronic identification (VNeID) in checking students' current residence.

During the registration process for grades 1 and 6, the information on the VNeID level 2 electronic identification account is the basis to replace traditional documents.

In case the current residence information and personal data on the VNeID application have been confirmed to be correct, the units are absolutely not allowed to request people to submit any additional documents (CT01, CT07, CT08...), proof or additional records of residence, to ensure simplification of administrative procedures according to regulations.

In case the current residence information and personal data on the VNeID application are not accurate, the units and educational institutions where the student is in his/her final year of high school will compile a list and send it to the People's Committee of the ward/commune/town in the area.

The People's Committee of the ward/commune/town coordinates with the police of the ward/commune/town to verify the information of the place of residence of the father, mother, guardian (parent) or head of household on the VNeID application that does not match the actual information provided by the people, or has difficulty in determining the actual place of residence of the student. Synthesize the results to report to the unit, educational institutions, and parents to know and update information on VNeID and the education sector database.

Previously, Ho Chi Minh City Police had issued a document requesting the Director of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Thu Duc City and districts to promptly issue a document directing the Department of Education and Training and the People's Committees of communes in the area to strictly implement Official Dispatch 04 of the Office of the People's Committee of the City.

Specifically, exploiting and using electronic identification account information on VNeID in receiving and simplifying administrative procedure records in the city when carrying out procedures for receiving and registering students to study at primary and secondary schools.

Reviewing primary school admission information from now until April 13

To serve the enrollment of the first grade of the 2025-2026 school year, the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City stipulates that from April 4 to 13, parents with children preparing to enter grade 1 and grade 6 must review information on the enrollment page of the first grade https://tuyensinhdaucap.hcm.edu.vn.

After that time, the Department will finalize the data of children preparing to enter grade 1 and primary school students preparing to enter grade 6 for the 2025-2026 school year. After April 13, no requests for changes will be processed, except in very special cases.
