Cam Pha: 185 individuals draw lots for aquaculture positions

On February 14, Cam Pha City People's Committee organized a draw for aquaculture plot locations for individuals in the second phase of aquaculture according to the plan for developing marine aquaculture in Cam Pha City until 2030, with a vision to 2045.

At the drawing session, 185 individuals verified by the People's Committees of wards and communes according to Point a, Clause 2, Article 44 of the 2017 Fisheries Law drew lots for 130 oyster farming locations in the Cap Vo island area of ​​Cam Thuy, Cam Trung, Cam Thanh wards and in the sea areas of Cam Binh, Cam Dong, Cam Son wards; Vung Bau, Quang Hanh ward; 55 fish farming locations in the areas of Cam Binh and Cam Dong wards.

The organization of the lottery for the location of the farming plots for individuals is conducted publicly, transparently, democratically, with the right subjects and under the close supervision of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, the City Police, the People's Court, and the City People's Procuracy. Through the lottery, the aim is to arrange and organize aquaculture households in a stable and long-term manner to develop production, contributing to the development of the marine economy associated with the development of marine tourism, ensuring environmental sanitation and safety of traffic routes at sea.
