The Provincial People's Committee approved the contents submitted to the 27th Session of the 10th Provincial People's Council.

Attending the meeting were Permanent Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Tran Thi Loc; Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee Dinh Quang Tuyen and Nong Quang Nhat; leaders of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and relevant departments and branches.

At the meeting, giving comments on the draft Resolution approving the policy of rearranging commune-level administrative units in Bac Kan province, some delegates suggested considering naming new communes and wards after the rearrangement in Bac Kan province so that they do not overlap with the names of administrative units at the same level in Thai Nguyen province; considering placing the commune center based on regional planning, practical conditions of facilities, central location, convenient traffic, and advantages in development space; clearly stating the reasons for keeping the commune-level administrative units after the rearrangement that do not meet the area standards such as having isolated locations and difficulty in organizing convenient traffic connections with adjacent administrative units...

The delegates basically agreed on the content of the draft resolutions: Approving the policy of merging Bac Kan and Thai Nguyen provinces; adjusting the local budget estimate and allocating the provincial budget in 2025 (2nd time); adjusting the public investment plan in 2025 from local budget capital (2nd time); adjusting the medium-term public investment plan for the period 2021 - 2025 from local budget capital (16th time); on the list of land plots for bidding to select investors to implement investment projects using land in Bac Kan province (3rd time); approving the policy of changing the purpose of forest use to other purposes to implement works and projects (supplementary) in 2025 in Bac Kan province (currently there is no proposal to develop a Resolution); prescribe principles, scope, support levels and use of funds to support the protection of rice-growing land in Bac Kan province (transferred from the 26th Session); approve the content of the project for the zoning plan for the construction of Nam Cat Lake Eco-tourism Area.

Concluding the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Dang Binh directed that, based on some comments from delegates, relevant departments and branches continue to complete documents to ensure quality and progress; urgently complete documents and legal procedures, ensuring strict compliance with legal regulations. Regarding issues that are still unresolved and have different opinions, the unit in charge of drafting must actively and proactively coordinate with relevant units and Committees of the Provincial People's Council to review them for the People's Committee to submit to the Provincial People's Council meeting in the coming time./.
