Checking the support work to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in Quang Hoa district

The delegation inspected the actual situation of poor and near-poor households receiving support for XNT and NDN in 2 communes: Cai Bo and Ngoc Dong. Implementing the program to support XNT and NDN, in 2025, Cai Bo commune was approved to build 49 houses (rebuild 46 houses, repair 3 houses), with a total cost of 2 billion 850 million VND. As of April 14, from the State's support fund, socialized funds, and capital from the National Target Program for Socio -Economic Development in Ethnic Minorities and Mountainous Areas, 4 houses were completed and 45 houses were under construction. Ngoc Dong commune was approved to build 36 houses, with a total cost of 2 billion 160 million VND. Of which, 32 houses were completed from the socialized fund, and 4 houses were supported by the National Target Program for Socio-Economic Development in Ethnic Minorities and Mountainous Areas; 22/36 houses were completed and 14 houses were under construction.

To date, the total outstanding debt of policy credit programs in Quang Hoa district has reached over VND 597.8 billion with 6,973 customers still in debt. Of which, the housing support loan program under Decree No. 28/2022/ND-CP of the Government has a total outstanding debt of VND 14.7 billion, with 368 borrowers. Inspection and supervision work is regularly carried out by local authorities, closely following the construction progress of each household. The allocation of support funds to the right subjects; housing design ensures the criteria and is suitable for the needs and customs of the locality. However, households receiving housing support have limited counterpart funds, have to borrow to implement, the ability to mobilize funds for self-construction is limited, along with the high price of materials..., affecting the progress and quality of housing construction.

The working group requested local Party committees and authorities of communes to continue to promote the work of supporting XNT and NDN for eligible subjects in conjunction with completing socio-economic development targets and sustainable poverty reduction; review XNT and NDN data in the area. Assign specific responsibilities to officials in charge of each area to grasp the thoughts, aspirations and circumstances of each household, provide guidance to overcome difficulties and mobilize families to strive to complete XNT and NDN support to ensure compliance with the set schedule and plan.

The Provincial Social Policy Bank awarded support funds to Dam Van Hoan's household, Xuan Yen A hamlet, Cai Bo commune.

On this occasion, the Provincial Social Policy Bank Branch and leaders of Quang Hoa district visited, encouraged and presented financial support for the poor and ethnic minorities to 2 households: Dam Van Hoan, Xuan Yen A hamlet, Cai Bo commune; Hua Van Viet, Phia Dong hamlet, Na Du, Ngoc Dong commune, each household received 60 million VND.
