On the morning of March 25, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Luan had a working session with relevant units on the program and plan to organize important events in the "Ca Mau - Destination 2025" event program, such as the Ceremony to honor the National Ancestor Lac Long Quan, the Hung King's death anniversary, and the Ceremony to receive the Certificate of ranking the Ho Chi Minh Trail at Sea as a special national monument.

According to the plan, from April 1-3, the National Ancestor Gratitude Ceremony will take place, including a festival and a ceremony. The festival includes activities displaying products for tourists to visit and shop; a folk cake making contest; an Olympic running day for the health of the whole people; art programs, sports activities... The ceremony will take place at 8:00 a.m. on April 3 (6/3 lunar calendar), at Lac Long Quan Temple, Ca Mau Cape Tourist Area.

The Hung King's death anniversary takes place on April 7 (March 10 of the lunar calendar) at the Hung King Temple, Tan Phu Commune, Thoi Binh District, including a ceremony and a festival.

From 2-9pm on April 24, the Ceremony to Receive the Certificate of Ranking the Ho Chi Minh Sea Trail as a Special National Monument (Vam Lung Wharf - Ca Mau Province) will take place at the Vam Lung Wharf Relic (Hamlet 8, Rach Goc Town, Ngoc Hien District). The program includes the incense offering and flower-laying ceremony to pay tribute to heroic martyrs; union members and students participating in extracurricular activities at the Vam Lung Wharf Relic; giving gifts to families with meritorious services; the ceremony to receive the relic ranking certificate from 7-8:30pm; then fireworks will be set off to end the program.

Mr. Tieu Minh Tien, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, presented the program and plan for organizing events.

Through events to educate the tradition of building and defending the country, the morality of "When drinking water, remember its source" for generations; to remember and deeply express gratitude for the merits of the Hung Kings and our ancestors who have strived for the cause of building and defending the country, contributing to strengthening the great national unity, promoting intelligence to build a unified, peaceful, prosperous and developed country.
