Engineers and workers are returning to the construction site one after another after Tet to enthusiastically compete and speed up the progress of major projects to finish on time.
On the 6th day of Tet, when many people were still enjoying the spring atmosphere, at key construction sites such as Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway, Long Thanh airport, Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3, and the renovation of Thuy Van - Bai Sau Vung Tau road... thousands of engineers and workers put on protective clothing and hard hats, starting a working year with enthusiasm. The sound of excavators and cranes echoed in every corner of the construction site, creating a vibrant and fierce atmosphere right from the first days of the year.

At Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway section through Dong Nai province, hundreds of workers were present at the construction site early in the morning. Trucks carrying soil, sand, and construction materials were bustling in and out, serving the roadbed construction. Some sections have completed the roadbed, are being graded with crushed stone, base stone, reinforced with cement concrete, asphalt, etc., ready for the next items.
In the construction area of component project 1, motorbikes and equipment were also gathered and personnel were present at the construction site to serve the construction. Thanks to the acceleration in the items, up to now, the output of component project 1 has reached nearly 20%, focusing on making the roadbed, grading crushed stone, reinforcing cement concrete, and paving some sections. During the past Tet, a unit also sent workers to construct the roadbed.
Mr. Nguyen Van Thuan and many colleagues returned to the construction site after Tet.
Similarly, the project component 2 has reached about 29% of the output, and is currently constructing the bridge, road, and underpass sections. In February, some sections will begin asphalting. Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Ha, Director of the Project Management Board of Component 2 of the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway, said that the site of the project component 2 basically meets the construction requirements.
Right from the first days of the new year, contractors quickly mobilized motorbikes, equipment and personnel to speed up construction in an effort to bring the project to the finish line on time. Here, groups of workers divided themselves into different categories: the leveling team continuously rolled the soil, the bridge and road team was busy with bored piles, and the concrete team was equally busy. The contractors affirmed that right after Tet, all human resources and equipment were mobilized to the maximum to ensure the commitment on progress.

Mr. Tran Van Duy, a road roller driver, quickly wiped his sweat and smiled: "I missed the construction site a lot during Tet, but now that I'm back at work, I feel much healthier. If we work hard at the beginning of the year, the whole year will be smooth, and I hope for a year of smooth sailing."
The output of component 3 of the expressway through Ba Ria - Vung Tau alone has reached over 70%. The asphalt is being paved, fences are being installed, and sidewalks are being built... Mr. Duong Hong Quan, Commander (Son Hai Group Co., Ltd.) said that component 3 is making efforts to complete important items to open to traffic on April 30.
“Currently, motorbikes and personnel equipment have been brought to the construction site to serve the construction. Workers have returned to the site one after another after more than 10 days of Tet holiday. The bustling atmosphere has begun to cover the entire project, and workers are taking advantage of the hot weather to increase work output,” said Mr. Quan.
Vehicles and equipment at the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway Component 3 project have also returned to the construction site after the Tet holiday.
Similarly, at the Long Thanh airport construction site, engineers and workers have gathered almost immediately after the Tet holiday. In the passenger terminal area, the installation of steel roof structures is taking place urgently. Units also take advantage of this time to process glass facades and install electrical and water systems.
Meanwhile, at the parking area, construction teams are focusing on leveling and rolling the ground. Worker Nguyen Xuan An shared: “Early spring is a time of favorable weather, we will take advantage of it to speed up progress, ensuring important items. The brothers are divided into many groups to construct, working continuously.”
The atmosphere at Long Thanh airport construction site has become more bustling.
Lieutenant Colonel Le Van Tien, commander of the joint venture for package 4.6 of the runway, said that the joint venture contractor has completed the runway structure, foundation and basically completed the cement concrete layer. Technical equipment such as ILS/DME precision landing aids are expected to be installed from February.
Not far away, the construction atmosphere on Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 through Dong Nai is also very urgent. The construction teams of the overpass and roadbed are all deployed simultaneously.

A representative of the Dong Nai Traffic Project Management Board said that many important items such as pile driving and concrete pouring for bridge girders have been deployed since the beginning of the year to ensure the overall progress of the project. It is expected that in the next few days, 100% of engineers and workers will be on site to speed up construction.
Similar to projects in Dong Nai, some projects in Ba Ria - Vung Tau such as Road 994, renovation of Thuy Van - Bai Sau Vung Tau road, Road 991B... have also started construction again.

Workers have been working tirelessly to complete the project on schedule, ready to serve the peak tourist season this summer.
