Singer Hong Nhung sends message 'We are there, resilient women'

The book was produced by the Resilient Women's Club Network in collaboration with the Digital Light Art Photography Club to inspire strong, resilient living for women fighting cancer as well as the community in general.

No matter how harsh life is, you can still live beautifully.

Responding to Tuoi Tre Online at the launch of the book project We Are - Resilient Women on March 29, Ms. Nguyen Dieu Thuy - Vice President of the Resilient Women's Club Network - said that the photo book of portraits capturing the radiant smiling moments of 60 women with breast cancer has the power to inspire everyone.

Printed photos with brief stories of the characters, or just a few lines of encouragement for those in the same situation.

“I want anyone who holds this book to see that, no matter how harsh life is, you can still live beautifully and happily,” Ms. Hoang Thu Ha - President of the Resilient Women's Club Network - shared more.

Ms. Dieu Thuy said the actual number of characters in the book could be less than 60, because any of them could pass away at any time.

Hong Nhung: Together, we will overcome

Singer Hong Nhung not only participates in the project as one of the 60 characters expected to appear in the photo book.

She also accompanied the entire project, composing a song specifically for women with breast cancer called Pink Bow .

At the book project launch, Hong Nhung was unable to attend in person due to health conditions. However, she also sent her sharing via a pre-recorded video.

In the video, Hong Nhung sends a small message to all women: "Love yourself by getting early cancer screening and regular health check-ups. Because if breast cancer is detected early, it can be completely cured."

She also sent words of encouragement to women who are also undergoing cancer treatment like her: “Together, we will overcome.”

The book is expected to be released in September.

The book is not for sale but is donated to all cancer treatment units nationwide. For those women who are feeling down, the smiles and eyes of the sisters in the same situation in the photo book will give them strength.

On October 1, the photos in this book will be exhibited at the Vietnamese Women's Museum and we will try to have another exhibition in the central area of ​​Hanoi.

To raise funds for the book project, the organizers displayed many artistic photos of the Digital Light Art Photography Club at 65 Nguyen Du, Hanoi for sale to contribute to the fund.

In addition to making books, this fund also supports health insurance purchases for breast cancer patients in difficult circumstances.
