According to Engadget , fans of the role-playing game genre have just received more good news, when Avowed , a new fantasy RPG from developer Obsidian Entertainment - the father of Outer Worlds , will officially land on Xbox and PC platforms this fall.

Avowed was originally designed to be an online co-op RPG, but the developers later decided to adapt it as a single-player game, focusing on exploration and narrative.
Avowed is a first-person RPG with a classic fantasy feel. Players journey through the Living Lands, on a quest for the kingdom of Aedyr to investigate a plague. Along the way, players will discover their connection to the land and its mysteries.
The game supports a variety of play styles, allowing players to approach combat and dialogue in their own way. The world of Avowed is filled with magic, monsters, guns, swords and shields, and companions who will join the party along the way. If you like Skyrim , you'll definitely love Avowed .
