Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Protection Command holds teaching staff exam

Major General Dinh Quoc Hung, Secretary of the Party Committee of Group 969, Political Commissar of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Protection Command attended the opening ceremony. Colonel Pham Van Hieu, Deputy Political Commissar of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Protection Command, Head of the Organizing Committee attended and delivered a speech directing the contest.

Participating in the Command level competition, 11 candidates went through 3 parts: Knowledge (in the form of multiple choice tests on computers with testing software), practice in preparing lesson plans and practice in teaching.

For the practical lecture section, candidates practice teaching one or two contents of the prepared lecture as requested by the Board of Examiners. After teaching, the Board of Examiners will present a pedagogical situation for candidates to handle and may ask additional questions to clarify the contents of the lecture. During the lecture, candidates will apply appropriate teaching methods, including the mandatory use of a projector. The Board of Examiners encourages the use of documents, diagrams, models, drawings, documentary tapes and discs related to the lecture content to illustrate the lecture.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the contest, Colonel Pham Van Hieu emphasized: The Political Teaching Cadres Competition at the Command level is a place for contestants to continue to express and assert themselves, and at the same time is a forum for everyone to learn and improve their knowledge, exchange experiences, share skills and work expertise. Through the contest, Party committees and commanders at all levels can properly assess the actual capacity and qualifications of the team of political teachers in agencies and units, thereby having policies and measures to lead, direct, foster and train to comprehensively improve the quality of the team of political teachers in the coming time. The success of the contest practically contributes to continuing to effectively implement the Project on innovation of political education work at the unit in the current period.

The results of the contest will create a new change in awareness, responsibility, improve the qualifications, capacity, methods and style of the team of political teachers in the Command; contribute to improving the quality and effectiveness of political education work, increasingly better meeting the requirements of the unit's tasks in the new situation.

Based on the results of the contest, the Organizing Committee selected outstanding candidates representing the political teaching staff of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Command to participate in the upcoming military-level political teaching staff contest.
