First is the Poco F6 model equipped with Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip, manufactured on 4nm process combined with the latest Adreno 725 GPU with more comprehensive performance than F5's Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chip. The product still has a basic memory configuration of 8/256 GB, but there is an additional option of 12/512 GB.
Poco F6 has powerful configuration and attractive price
The phone has a 6.67-inch 1.5K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, and Dolby Vision. It reaches a peak brightness of 2,400 nits. The display features 1,920Hz high-frequency pulse dimming. The phone is also IP64 rated and has Gorilla Glass Victus.
In terms of photography, the Poco F6 comes with a 50 MP Sony IMX882 main camera setup with a pixel size of 0.7 µm, OIS support, combined with an 8 MP camera like its predecessor. On the front, the selfie camera has been upgraded to a 20 MP sensor (up from 16 MP). Like its predecessor, the phone also offers stereo speakers with a 3.5 mm headphone jack, other connectivity features include NFC (depending on the region) and an infrared port. The device supports 90W fast charging for the 5,000 mAh battery.
Poco F6 Pro features an upgraded camera setup
Meanwhile, the Poco F6 Pro is the more premium model with many superior features, including the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, along with configuration options of 12/256 GB and 12/512 GB, or 16 GB/1 TB. Another upgrade over the F6 is the sharper 6.67-inch 1,440p+ OLED screen with 4,000 nits brightness and faster 3,840 Hz brightness dimming. The phone has a 5,000 mAh battery with 120W fast charging support, allowing it to be fully charged in just 19 minutes.
Compared to its predecessor, the camera is a good upgrade for users with a larger 50 MP main sensor with a 1.0 µm size, f/1.6 aperture and OIS. The ultra-wide camera is 8 MP but there is no telephoto camera. On the front is a selfie camera with a 16 MP sensor.
The Poco F6 is currently available for $380 for the base 8/256GB version. Meanwhile, the Poco F6 Pro starts at $500 for the 12/256GB version.
It is expected that this smartphone duo will soon be brought to the Vietnamese market.
