On August 26, the Hung Yen Provincial Military Command held a meeting to honor excellent students and university graduates, and students in difficult circumstances in 2023. Colonel To Thanh Quyet, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Commander of the Hung Yen Provincial Military Command attended and awarded the students.
Also attending the meeting were leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee, the Provincial Women's Union, and the Hung Yen Provincial Education Promotion Association.
According to information from the Hung Yen Provincial Military Command, in this commendation meeting, the unit awarded letters of commendation and commendation gifts to 171 outstanding students, of which 126 were children of officers and employees of the Provincial Military Command who achieved the title of excellent students; won first, second, and third prizes in excellent student competitions at the provincial, district, town, city, and national levels; and students who passed university entrance exams as well as military academies and schools. On the occasion of the new school year, the Provincial Military Command awarded 45 bicycles to poor students who overcame difficulties and studied well in the province. This is an activity organized annually by the Provincial Military Command, before students enter the new school year.

Speaking at the meeting and commendation, Colonel Vu Trong Thoan, Deputy Commissar of the Provincial Military Command, acknowledged and commended the achievements of the students in the 2022-2023 school year; congratulated them on passing the university entrance exam this time. The Deputy Commissar hoped that in the new school year 2023-2024, the students would continue to strive, actively study, cultivate, practice, acquire a lot of knowledge, and after graduating, apply it effectively in their actual work, contributing to building their homeland and country to become more civilized and prosperous.

Colonel Vu Trong Thoan also requested that Party committees and commanders of agencies, units and mass organizations continue to pay more attention and promptly encourage military families in difficult circumstances; organize and carry out well the work of protecting, caring for and educating children, creating the best conditions for them to study, develop their capacity and intelligence, master science and technology, and firmly build the future.
