Quiet full moon season
Nu Village just experienced a terrifying and heartbreaking flash flood on the morning of September 10 due to the impact of storm No. 3 Yagi.
Sympathizing with the children's loss, Mr. Nguyen Hong Son (born in 1997, living in Hanoi) took a series of photos of an incomplete full moon in Lang Nu and received sympathy, making many people cry.
Mr. Son said that the idea of taking a series of Mid-Autumn photos for the unfortunate children in the highlands had been in his mind for a long time. During a trip to Lang Nu with the Youth Union to give necessities and Mid-Autumn gifts to the people, he took this series of photos.
"Coming to Lang Nu, I saw a very desolate and pitiful scene!" - Mr. Son said sadly.
In the photo series, he took pictures of 4 children. 3 of them escaped because they lived at a nearby school. The remaining child was lucky enough to survive the terrible flood, but lost a loved one forever.
Mr. Son said: "I will always remember the image of the little boy sitting on the side of the road. He sat there from the time I entered the village until I left. I heard that he had lost his entire family, now he only has one younger brother who is being treated in the hospital."

Tong Huyen Anh wrote: "My heart aches... It's still the same Mid-Autumn Festival, the same bright star lanterns, but the children can't sing and play anymore. The family can't be together anymore... I hope the children will always be happy and joyful in a new world, where they will have more everything. I love you so much."
Meanwhile, Em Loan's account recorded her feelings: "The images bring tears to my eyes. I wish all the children to always live happily, safely, and happily with their families. This year's Mid-Autumn Festival is so heartbreaking."
Mr. Hong Son confided that he put himself into the story and emotions of the students when taking this photo series. "I wish that the students can overcome this storm" - he said.
