Binh Thuan won first prize in the Chua Chan Mountain Climbing Cross Country Race 2023

Mr. Huynh Ngoc Tam - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Thuan has just announced that Binh Thuan has excellently won the first prize for the entire team at the 22nd Traditional Chua Chan Mountain Climbing Race of Xuan Loc District, Dong Nai Province - Southeast Region Cluster in 2023.

Male athletes compete in the 5km cross country race

Accordingly , the tournament took place at Hoa Vien (Gia Ray town, Xuan Loc district) with nearly 1,000 athletes from the following units: armed forces; schools; Women's Union ; People's Committees of local communes in the province; Long Khanh city; Nhon Trach, Thong Nhat, Cam My, Xuan Loc districts and 6 provinces of the Southeast Cluster .

Athletes compete in 6 events with 2 distances, divided into 3 competition systems: district amateur system, provincial selection system and open selection system. For men's events, the competition distance is 7 km (including 5 km cross-country, 2 km mountain climbing); for women's events, the distance is 5 km (3 km cross-country and 2 km mountain climbing).

In which, Binh Thuan competed in the open competition of the Southeast provinces and excellently won the first prize overall, second place went to the host Dong Nai and third place went to Binh Phuoc.
