Donations to Mr. Trump's campaign in July increased 24% compared to the $111.8 million raised in June. The former President's campaign fund now has $327 million.

Previously, on July 2, Mr. Trump's campaign said it had raised $331 million in the second quarter, surpassing the $264 million raised by then-Democratic candidate and incumbent President Joe Biden in the same period.

The attempted assassination of Mr. Trump on July 13 at a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, is believed to have contributed to boosting contributions to the Republican candidate's fundraising campaign.

Meanwhile, the campaign of Vice President Kamala Harris, who is likely to be the Democratic Party's nominee in the upcoming presidential election, has not yet announced the total amount of money raised in July.
