Caught 26 'gamblers' gambling with each other

On March 8, information from Thanh Hoa Provincial Police said that the Criminal Police Department of Thanh Hoa Provincial Police had just caught 26 "gamblers" gambling on a gambling mat at the private home of Tran Van Dung (52 years old, residing in Vinh Loc Town, Vinh Loc District, Thanh Hoa).

The suspects were arrested.

Previously, at around 3:30 p.m. on March 6, the Criminal Police Department of Thanh Hoa Province Police raided Tran Van Dung's house and caught Dung and 25 other suspects gambling by shaking dice.

At the gambling den, the police seized a total of 242 million VND, and many other exhibits related to gambling and gambling organization.

Initially, the Criminal Police Department of Thanh Hoa Province Police identified that of the 26 suspects, 9 resided in Vinh Loc District, 6 resided in Ha Trung District (Thanh Hoa), 4 resided in Tho Xuan District (Thanh Hoa), 3 resided in Thach Thanh District (Thanh Hoa), 2 resided in Bim Son Town (Thanh Hoa), 1 resided in Yen Dinh District (Thanh Hoa) and 1 resided in Yen Bai City (Yen Bai Province).

At the police station, the suspects confessed that the "gambling den" was organized by Trinh Dinh Tai (53 years old), Trinh Viet Linh (34 years old, all living in Vinh Phuc commune, Vinh Loc district) and Tran Van Dung (homeowner), who were also the "gamblers".

The case is being further investigated and clarified by the Criminal Police Department of Thanh Hoa Provincial Police.
