On June 2, the Traffic Police Department of Gia Lai Province Police drew up a record of violation to handle according to regulations against driver Khong Van T. (44 years old, residing in Ia Rve commune, Ea Sup district, Dak Lak province) for driving a car causing an accident and then fleeing the scene.

According to initial information, at around 6:30 p.m. on June 1, driver T. was driving vehicle with license plate 47A-449.XX on National Highway 19, from Mang Yang district to Pleiku city.

When reaching Km141+00, passing through Ha Long 1 village (Kdang commune, Dak Doa district), there was a collision with a motorbike with license plate number: 81B2-759.96 driven by Ms. Tran Thi Thanh H. (35 years old, residing in Kdang commune, Dak Doa district) traveling in the opposite direction.

The collision caused Ms. H. to suffer multiple injuries. She was taken to Hung Vuong Hospital (Pleiku City, Gia Lai) by relatives for emergency treatment.

Mr. Khong Van T. drove the vehicle away from the scene. Based on the information from the people, the Gia Lai Provincial Traffic Police pursued and arrested the driver and the vehicle that caused the accident.

During the inspection, the authorities determined that driver Khong Van T. had an alcohol concentration of 1.351 mg/liter of breath.

According to the source that PV has, Mr. Khong Van T. is a soldier, currently working at the Military Command of a district in the area.
