On March 24, speaking with VietNamNet reporter, Mr. NDG (security guard at Kien An High School) confirmed that he had resigned after being involved in the uproar over the dog being tied up in the parking lot at noon on March 18.

According to Mr. G, after seeing many conflicting opinions on the internet affecting the Board of Directors of Kien An High School, he thought about resigning.

On the evening of March 21, Mr. G. wrote a resignation letter and sent it to the Board of Directors of Kien An High School the next morning.

"I thought a lot. I have worked at the school since 1998, now because of the unnecessary noise, I have asked to resign to avoid affecting the school. When I sent the application, I directly apologized to the Board of Directors of Kien An High School and all the students," said Mr. G.

Mr. G, a security guard at Kien An High School, has resigned after the uproar over the dog being tied up in the parking lot.

On the same day, March 22, Ms. VTTH, teacher and Secretary of the Youth Union of Kien An High School, was also temporarily suspended from directing the school's Youth Union in her position as Secretary. All work of the school's Youth Union was assigned to the Deputy Secretary to be in charge of and operate.

The reason is that on the evening of March 20, Ms. H. sent a message to the Zalo group of the class president and class secretaries (not through the Board of Directors) with the desire to remind students about the use of social networks. However, during the exchange, Ms. H. did not express the meaning clearly, leading to students misunderstanding that they would be suspended from school and disciplined for posting pictures of animals.

Ms. H. also realized her mistake and seriously asked to learn from her experience. Also related to Ms. H., the online community later posted content that was said to be her private messages, containing rude words about the incident.

Kien An High School also requested Ms. H. to review and clearly identify her violations and will consider disciplinary action (if any).

Previously, on March 20, an article was circulated on social media with the following content: "A stray dog entered Kien An High School (Hai Phong) and was caught by security guards, tied up by all four legs and muzzled. When students discovered it and complained, the security guards said 'the dog is for slaughter', then the school security guards took the dog to a dog meat shop. These students wanted to save the dog but did not know what else to do, so they posted it online...".

On March 20, a representative of the Board of Directors of Kien An High School confirmed that there was no case of school security stealing dogs to bring into the school, it was just a matter of buying and selling when they saw a cheap price. Afterwards, Mr. G. and the dog's owner went to the slaughterhouse to ask for the dog's return.
