Vietnam Social Security conducts training on foreign affairs in Hai Duong

Deputy General Director of Vietnam Social Security Dao Viet Anh delivered the opening speech at the conference.

This is an annual activity of Vietnam Social Security and is the first year the conference is held in Hai Duong.

At the conference, experts and leaders of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Institute for Brand and Competitiveness Strategy provided information on the global and regional economic situation affecting the Vietnamese social insurance industry; and the “Vietnamese bamboo” diplomacy in Vietnam’s foreign affairs and diplomacy in the new era.

Dr. Nguyen Hai Luu, Deputy Director of the Department of Foreign Policy, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, presented on the "Vietnamese bamboo" diplomatic method in foreign affairs activities.

World Bank experts share about population aging, the impact of informal sector labor on the social security system and recommendations for Vietnam.

The conference was attended by 30 insurance agencies in the Northern region.

On this occasion, Vietnam Social Security also awarded the Medal "For the cause of Vietnam social insurance" to experts from the World Bank for their many contributions to the construction and development of the social insurance career in Vietnam.

Leaders of Vietnam Social Security awarded the "For the cause of social insurance" Medal to Mr. Robert Palacios, senior expert in the field of social security in the East Asia - Pacific region of the World Bank.

The goal of foreign affairs and international integration of the social insurance sector is to maximize resources and favorable conditions of international integration, contributing to building a sustainable, effective and modern social security system in Vietnam; developing policies and organizing the implementation of policies on social insurance and health insurance in accordance with international standards and treaties to which Vietnam is a member.

This is an opportunity for staff working in the external information sector of the social insurance sector to improve their knowledge and skills, update information on external affairs and international integration of Vietnam Social Security, to meet the requirements of the sector's external affairs.
