Speaking at the opening of the seminar, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Hanoi Moi Newspaper Mai Thi Kim Thoa said that in recent years, our country's economy has continuously grown at a fairly high rate; domestic production has increasingly met the needs of production and social consumption. The quality of Vietnamese goods has become increasingly higher, many products have become competitive in the market such as: Coffee, rice, cashew nuts, seafood, etc.
With the online sales livestream channel, many startups, small traders, OCOP entities and Vietnamese farmers not only sell their products, but also tell stories about the products, their origins and especially their emotions and pride in their local products.

Many businesses are promoting sales on digital platforms and investing very systematically, considering this a very potential distribution channel. According to statistics, in 2023, in Vietnam, 2.2 billion products were successfully delivered on the top 5 e-commerce platforms in the country, including Shopee, Lazada, Tiki, Sendo and TikTok Shop, an increase of 52.3% compared to 2022. It is expected that in 2024, revenue and sales volume on online platforms can reach more than 310,000 billion VND, an increase of 35% compared to last year.
At the Program, delegates discussed solutions, pointed out advantages, difficulties and challenges, helping businesses, especially startups, small traders, and OCOP entities bring goods to domestic consumers more effectively. At the same time, strengthen solutions to combat smuggled and counterfeit goods on e-commerce and livestream sales.
Speaking at the online exchange, Editor-in-Chief of Hanoi Moi Newspaper Nguyen Minh Duc emphasized that the topic of online sales via e-commerce platforms has shown its popularity and received the attention of Hanoi Moi Newspaper readers. From the perspective of state management, agencies and units need to continue to improve the legal system related to regulations on sales and management of goods on e-commerce platforms to protect consumer rights.
Journalist Nguyen Minh Duc said: "State management agencies need to have better and more substantial policies in supporting businesses participating in e-commerce platforms such as trading floors, supporting businesses in sales skills; implementing pre-, during- and post-sales services. Promote communication so that consumers are aware, improve skills in participating in buying and selling goods on e-commerce platforms, avoiding risks in transactions" ...
