Bamboo Airways continuously welcomes 2 new aircraft in the first 2 weeks of the year

This is the second aircraft that Bamboo Airways has planned to add to its fleet to serve the peak Tet holiday period. Previously, the first aircraft also landed at this airport on January 8 to join the Bamboo Airways fleet.

Bamboo Airways' new Airbus A320 aircraft landed at Tan Son Nhat Airport (HCMC) on January 14.

Bamboo Airways representative said that the implementation of the plan to add new aircraft as well as promote the plan to increase operating capacity, incentive programs... is meaningful when carried out right before the 5th anniversary of the first commercial flight (January 16, 2019 - January 16, 2024). This move also conveys the effort to stabilize operations, moving towards future growth in the context of the airline's drastic restructuring.

According to the plan, this year, the airline will promote the development of flight products with better prices, targeting customers with diverse incomes, small and medium enterprises. Regarding the operation plan, Bamboo Airways will focus on covering the domestic aviation market, in addition to operating some international flights in the form of charter flights. In the long term, Bamboo Airways aims to operate a single narrow-body aircraft Airbus A320/321. The airline will also strive to maintain service quality and preserve the most punctual airline brand.

During the 2024 Lunar New Year period, Bamboo Airways plans to increase its capacity by 20%, increase the frequency of operations on the main routes Hanoi - Ho Chi Minh City, between Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang, local routes with high demand between Ho Chi Minh City and Vinh, Thanh Hoa, Hai Phong..., as well as increase night flights on the routes between Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, Da Nang, Vinh...

Up to now, most of the routes with high demand during Tet such as Ho Chi Minh City - Thanh Hoa/Vinh/Hai Phong/Hue/Quy Nhon, Hanoi - Ho Chi Minh City/Da Nang... have recorded high booking rates or sold out tickets.
