Spending 25,000 billion VND to expand two main roads in Ho Chi Minh City
The two projects of National Highway 1 (from Kinh Duong Vuong to Long An border) and National Highway 22 (from An Suong intersection to Ring Road 3) are among the five upgrading and expansion projects.
Currently, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Transport is assigned to prepare a pre-feasibility study report to implement the project under the BOT (build-operate-transfer) model that Resolution 98 allows Ho Chi Minh City to pilot, with a budget of about VND25,000 billion.

Determining the number of wild elephants in Dong Nai
Through analysis of hundreds of thousands of images recorded by camera traps installed in the forest, experts determined that the wild elephant herd in Dong Nai has about 25-27 individuals. The elephants are distributed in 3 forest areas: Dong Nai Nature and Culture Reserve, Cat Tien National Park and La Nga Forestry Company Limited.

Among them, there are about 8 male elephants and 3 adult female elephants. The average physical condition of the elephants is 8 points (the highest score in the good physical condition range). This shows that the habitat, food conditions, and water sources in Dong Nai are very good for elephants.
Ba Ria - Vung Tau will have Long Dat district from 2025
