Ms. Ho Thi Hoang Yen holds the position of Secretary of Ben Tre Provincial Party Committee

Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Van Nen presented flowers to congratulate Secretary of the Ben Tre Provincial Party Committee Ho Thi Hoang Yen.

Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Van Nen attended the conference and presented the Politburo's Decision on appointing Ms. Ho Thi Hoang Yen, Acting Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council, as Secretary of the Ben Tre Provincial Party Committee, term 2020-2025.

Speaking at the conference, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Van Nen oriented the key tasks that Ben Tre needs to focus on implementing in the coming time: The province completes the goals and tasks assigned by the Party Congress, especially accelerating socio-economic development, aiming for a growth target of over 8%; continues to reorganize the apparatus and cadres in the political system towards streamlining, strength, effectiveness and efficiency; thoroughly grasps and implements Directive No. 35-CT/TW dated June 14, 2024 of the Politburo on party congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Congress of the Party; widely implements Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology development, innovation and national digital transformation; continues to implement the directions and conclusions of the Politburo and the Government's working delegation.

Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Van Nen hopes that the Ben Tre Provincial Party Committee will prepare its mind and identify key tasks for the Party Committee, government and people of Ben Tre to rise up, worthy of the revolutionary tradition of the heroic homeland, towards the new era of the country; at the same time, he believes that with the solidarity and support of the Party Committee, government and people of Ben Tre, Ms. Ho Thi Hoang Yen will excellently complete the assigned tasks.

In her acceptance speech, the new Secretary of Ben Tre Provincial Party Committee, Ho Thi Hoang Yen, expressed her deep gratitude to the Politburo, the Central Organizing Committee, the Central Party Committees, the Provincial Party Standing Committee, the Provincial Party Standing Committee, the Provincial Party Executive Committee, cadres, party members and people of Ben Tre province for their trust and support over the past time.

Ms. Ho Thi Hoang Yen affirmed that she will continue to promote the achieved results, promote the heroic tradition of the Party Committee, constantly study, practice, cultivate moral qualities, be proactive, closely follow the grassroots, respect and listen to the opinions of cadres, party members and people; strive with all her heart and soul, overcome all difficulties and challenges, and join the Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Committee in solidarity and unity in leading the successful implementation of political tasks in 2025 and the following years.

Ms. Ho Thi Hoang Yen hopes to continue receiving the attention, leadership and direction of the Politburo, the Secretariat, the National Assembly, the Government and the central ministries, departments and branches, the support, sharing, help, solidarity and unity of the comrades in the Standing Committee, the Provincial Party Executive Committee, generations of leaders, Party committee officials and people of Ben Tre province to successfully complete the assigned tasks.

Ms. Ho Thi Hoang Yen was born in 1971 in Son Dong commune, Ben Tre city. Professional qualifications: Bachelor of Economics, Bachelor of Politics, major in Organization; advanced political theory.

Before being assigned as Acting Secretary of the Ben Tre Provincial Party Committee, Ms. Ho Thi Hoang Yen had held many positions such as: Head of Department, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Board, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ben Tre City Party Committee; Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Board, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, in charge of the Ben Tre Provincial Party Committee, Acting Secretary of the Ben Tre Provincial Party Committee. Ms. Ho Thi Hoang Yen is also currently the Chairwoman of the People's Council of Ben Tre province, term X, 2021-2026.
