According to Android Authority , users have taken to Twitter to provide evidence of their iPhones getting stuck in a bootloop after updating to iOS 17.3 beta 2. The issue affects models ranging from the iPhone 12 to the iPhone 15.
iOS 17.3 beta 2 causes some iPhones to be affected by bootloop error
Shortly after noting the issue, Apple quickly removed the software, explaining in the release notes that: "iOS and iPadOS 17.3 beta 2 have been temporarily withdrawn due to an issue that prevents a small number of devices from booting. If your device is in this state, you can restore it by entering Recovery Mode and restoring to a previous version of iOS."
Basically, if you are someone who has updated to iOS 17.3 beta 2, you can fix your frozen device by rolling back to iOS 17.3 beta 1 or iOS 17.2.1. However, you will need a backup of the previous version to restore all your data.
Based on reports, the issue could be related to the Back Tap setting. This feature allows iPhone users to perform certain actions when they tap the back of their device. However, it is unclear if that is the only reason why iPhones running iOS 17.3 beta 2 are experiencing issues. Apple is expected to re-release iOS 17.3 beta 2 once the company has completed fixing the bootloop issue.
