Hanoi Ao Dai welcomes Tet filled with spring

Tet is approaching, every street in Hanoi is filled with brilliant peach and apricot blossoms… people are even more excited and busy in the last working day of the year.

When the hurried atmosphere covers the whole city, there are also young people who choose to relax, leisurely go out to the streets to take pictures of Ao Dai to welcome Tet and say goodbye to the old year.

Everyone chooses for themselves the most beautiful ao dai with many brilliant colors. A lovely photo album at the end of the year, relaxing with close friends as a gift to reward yourself after a year of hard work.

If in previous years destinations such as Hang Ma, Temple of Literature, and ancient pagodas were places chosen by tourists to take Tet photos, this year, Hoan Kiem Lake is the hottest destination.

Around Hoan Kiem Lake, groups of young ladies and young men were taking beautiful pictures of each other to welcome the coming New Year.

Choosing a light traditional white ao dai, Ngoc Linh (living in Cau Giay district, Hanoi) said that today is her last day in Hanoi before returning home to celebrate Tet with her family.

"Tet Ao Dai is an indispensable photo collection for me when spring comes. Every year I choose a different photo shoot location to capture the joyful moments of my youth.

Last year, young people had a trend of going to Phan Dinh Phung and Phung Hung streets to take Tet photos. But this year, most of us chose Hoan Kiem Lake," Ngoc Linh shared.

As for Nguyen Thao (Thanh Xuan district, Hanoi), the Tet atmosphere in Hanoi always makes Thao excited and look forward to it. Therefore, Thao and her group of friends came to Hoan Kiem Lake not only to take photos in Ao Dai but also to enjoy the joyful and bustling atmosphere on every street corner and road.

"This winter seems warmer than usual and there is more sunshine. Sometimes I feel like I am still living in the autumn atmosphere. I especially like the late afternoon sunlight sparkling on the lake, so we chose Hoan Kiem Lake to take Tet photos.

If destinations like the Temple of Literature or pagodas and ancient houses are suitable for gentle and serious photography, then at Hoan Kiem Lake we can freely pose youthfully and playfully," Thao confided.

Besides Hoan Kiem Lake, some other destinations in Hanoi are also loved by young people when taking photos of Ao Dai such as the flag alley on Yen Phu street, West Lake, Cau Nhi temple on Thanh Nien street...
