Dak Lak Hot Air Balloon Festival 2025 will take place from May 1 to 3

The Organizing Committee of Dak Lak Hot Air Balloon Festival 2025 said that the Festival has the theme "Flying over the great forest", taking place from May 1 to May 3, 2025 at Buon Don Suspension Bridge Tourist Area - Island Village (Krong Na commune, Buon Don district) with the appearance of 12 hot air balloons (including 10 hot air balloons flying to serve tourists and 2 hot air balloons displayed at 10/3 Square).

Estimated flight times are from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m. and 3:30 to 6:30 p.m., flight duration is from 5 to 10 minutes with ticket prices from 140,000 to 800,000 VND depending on ticket class.

Chairman of Buon Don District People's Committee Pham Trung Nghia and representative of Dak Lak 2/9 Import Export Company Limited signed a memorandum of understanding on organizing the Festival.

Participating in the Festival, visitors will fly up into the Central Highlands sky, witnessing with their own eyes Yok Don National Park with its vast dipterocarp forests, the majestic Serepok River, rustic stilt houses hidden in the middle of the forest and the vivid picture of the indigenous ethnic communities.

Within the framework of the Festival, there are many attractive activities such as: free-flying and hanging hot air balloon performances; experiential activities for tourists; cultural exchange programs, traditional arts; food booths and local specialties...

This is the first time a large-scale event with unique experiences such as hot air ballooning has been held locally. The event is not only entertaining and artistic but also a bridge to promote culture, tourism potential, especially the identity of the ethnic groups in the Central Highlands to friends from all over the world.
