On November 3, the municipal government of District 4 of Budapest, Hungary, in collaboration with the Hungarian Culture Association, organized the program "Vietnamese Cultural Night" at the District's cultural house to introduce Vietnamese culture, tourism and cuisine.
Attending the program were Ambassador Nguyen Thi Bich Thao - the guest of honor of the event, leaders of District 4; Mr. Botz László, Chairman of the Hungary-Vietnam Friendship Association, along with leaders of the Association and Vietnamese associations, unions, and enterprises in Hungary and many writers, intellectuals and Hungarian people living in District 4.

In her opening speech, Ambassador Nguyen Thi Bich Thao expressed her gratitude to the leaders of District 4, Budapest for closely coordinating with Vietnamese associations and businesses in Hungary in organizing the "Vietnamese Cultural Night".
This event aims to introduce a “journey”, a cultural slice for Hungarian people to better understand Vietnam with nearly 100 million people, which is growing strongly, developing remarkably in both economy and society, integrating with the world and having an increasingly high position in the international arena, and is one of the most attractive tourist destinations in Asia today.
The program is a practical and meaningful activity, not only helping Hungarian people better understand the cultural, artistic and culinary values of Vietnam but also strengthening the cultural cooperation relationship between the Vietnamese Embassy and District 4, Budapest, contributing to strengthening the traditional friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and Hungary with a history of more than 73 years, upgraded to Comprehensive Partnership since 2018.

The program took place in an intimate and cozy atmosphere, attracting many Hungarian friends, intellectuals from District 4-Budapest and the Vietnamese community in Hungary to attend in large numbers, enjoying colorful art performances such as the conical hat dance to the song "My homeland Vietnam", the Ao Dai performance, the Drum and Rice dance performed by the Vietnamese Women's Association in Hungary, interacting with Hungarian folk songs, the classical music masterpiece "Hungarian Dance" performed by Hungarian musicians and exploring Vietnamese cuisine with traditional dishes sponsored by a Vietnamese enterprise in Hungary - Vinvin restaurant, leaving many unforgettable impressions on Hungarian friends.

The art performance and cultural exchange “Vietnam Cultural Night” was a great success, ending with many deep feelings in the hearts of Hungarian friends about the friendly Vietnamese people, and at the same time, it is a testament to the exchange, solidarity, and enthusiastic cooperation of Vietnamese associations and businesses in Hungary and Hungarian friends in preserving and promoting the good traditional feelings between the people of the two countries.
