Presenting Decision No. 1530-QDNS/TW, dated August 30, 2024 of the Politburo on the transfer and appointment of comrade Ho Van Mung, Secretary of Nha Trang City Party Committee, Khanh Hoa province, to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and hold the position of Deputy Secretary of An Giang Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term, comrade Do Trong Hung, Deputy Head of the Central Organization Commission, emphasized that comrade Ho Van Mung is a young, dynamic, enthusiastic cadre with leadership and management capacity.

Comrade Ho Van Mung has good political qualities, has matured and has worked in many different positions from the grassroots to the provincial level. Regardless of his position, he always strives, trains, overcomes difficulties, completes assigned tasks well, and actively contributes to the development of the locality, agency, and unit.
Comrade Do Trong Hung hopes that in his new position, Comrade Ho Van Mung will continue to promote his capacity and courage, quickly integrate and grasp the local situation.
Comrades need to respectfully inherit and promote the traditions and experiences of previous leaders, listen to the opinions of all classes of people, closely follow the grassroots; wholeheartedly and wholeheartedly work with the Executive Committee of the An Giang Provincial Party Committee to proactively, creatively, and lead the successful implementation of goals and tasks.
Comrade Do Trong Hung requested the Executive Committee of the An Giang Provincial Party Committee to continue to maintain solidarity and unity, creating favorable conditions for comrade Ho Van Mung to excellently complete the assigned tasks.
Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Ho Van Mung expressed that being proposed by the Central Organizing Committee and assigned by the Politburo to join the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the An Giang Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term; being elected by the An Giang Provincial People's Council as Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee is an honor, pride and a great responsibility.
He promised that in his new position, he would continuously study, practice, be open-minded, listen, be dedicated, and be highly responsible in performing assigned duties and tasks, and maintain discipline.

Always unite and be united in the collective, contribute together with the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the Standing Committee, and the Provincial Party Executive Committee to promote the spirit of solidarity and unity, successfully complete all assigned goals and tasks, and make An Giang province increasingly develop.
On the same morning, the Standing Committee of the An Giang Provincial People's Council decided to convene the 21st session (special session) of the 10th Provincial People's Council (term 2021-2026) to elect comrade Ho Van Mung to hold the position of Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
Comrade Ho Van Mung was born in 1997, from Van Ninh district, Khanh Hoa province; has a high level of political theory; professional qualifications are Master of Economic Management, Bachelor of Foreign Languages.
He was a member of the Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Youth Union from August 2013 to September 2015. From September 2015 to October 2015, he was a member of the Standing Committee of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Van Ninh District Party Committee. From November 2015 to August 2021, he was a member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the Propaganda Department of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee.
At the 13th National Congress of the Party, comrade Ho Van Mung was elected as an alternate member of the 13th Party Central Committee for the 2021-2026 term.
From August 2021 to present, he has been an alternate member of the Party Central Committee, member of the Standing Committee of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of Nha Trang City Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
