The 48th IVU World Vegan Festival was held in 3 major cities of India: Mumbai, Chennai and Ahmedabad. The festival attracted more than 125 booths, more than 50 famous artists and speakers, 5,000 people registered to participate in Earth Run and Earth March; especially more than 15,000 people attended in Mumbai, 3,000 people attended in Chennai, 2,000 people attended in Ahmedabad.

Besides, Mr. Le Vinh Thao - founder of An Chay TV and anchay.vn, Advisor to the International Vegetarian Alliance Council, representative of the International Vegetarian Alliance in Vietnam gave a speech at the festival.

Here, Mr. Thao reported on the progress of activities related to the issuance of IVU Vegan Certificate globally and especially in Vietnam; introduced the values ​​of vegetarianism and the situation of vegetarian activities in Vietnam. The speech clearly stated the meaning, purpose, criteria and review process for the issuance of IVU Vegan Certificate, this certificate will be valid worldwide.

It is expected that the IVU Vegan Certificate will be implemented in 2024 and Mr. Le Vinh Thao will be the representative of the International Vegetarian Alliance to receive, review and issue certificates in Vietnam.
