During 3 days (February 27-29), in Sakon NaKhon province (Kingdom of Thailand), the delegation of Ha Tinh province led by Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Ngoc Chau attended the 23rd summit of 9 provinces of Vietnam - Laos - Thailand using Highway 8 and Highway 12.

At the conference, after listening to the summary report on the implementation results of the Minutes of the 22nd Summit of 9 provinces of the 3 countries of Vietnam - Laos - Thailand using Roads 8 and 12, along with the opinions of representatives of the participating provinces, the conference reached an agreement to continue comprehensive cooperation in the fields of economy, culture and society.

Strengthen cooperation in technology transfer, investment promotion, and connecting supply and demand in the technology sector among 9 provinces of 3 countries. Encourage the exchange of information, experience, and technology transfer in agriculture among provinces.

Encourage border trade by reducing customs procedures for checking passports and other documents to shorten the time in import and export activities. Each province develops a mechanism for exchanging relevant information to prevent smuggling, trade fraud, drug trafficking, etc.

The 24th Summit of 9 provinces of 3 countries is expected to be held in Quang Binh province, Socialist Republic of Vietnam in early 2025.
