Using noni fruit properly helps support health

According to some recent studies, daily use of noni juice has been shown to help reduce harmful cholesterol. For diabetes, the nutrients in noni fruit have been shown to help control blood sugar levels. Next is pregnant or breastfeeding women, because the effects of noni fruit on the fetus have not been fully studied. In addition, people who are allergic to noni fruit or noni products should not use it.

"Do not overuse noni fruit. Overdosing can cause diarrhea, nausea, or electrolyte imbalance (due to high potassium). In addition, for those who are taking medication to treat high blood pressure, diabetes, or high cholesterol, consult your doctor before using, because noni fruit can interact with some medications," Dr. Duc noted.

Regarding how to use noni fruit at home, Dr. Duc instructs how to make noni juice as follows: Use 30 - 50 ml of noni juice per day (divided into 1 - 2 times). Drink before meals for better absorption.

Dried noni fruit, make tea: Use 5 - 10 gr of dried noni to brew water and drink like tea. Can drink 2 - 3 times/day.

Noni fruit soaked in wine (should be limited for patients with high blood pressure): Drink 15 - 20 ml/day, do not abuse.

Noni powder or pills: Use according to instructions on the package, usually 2 - 4 gr/day.
