On October 13, the Vietnam Door Association celebrated its 3rd anniversary and Vietnamese Entrepreneurs Day.
Established under Decision No. 3539/QD-BNV dated July 17, 2020 of the Ministry of Home Affairs, up to now, after 3 years of operation, the Vietnam Door Association has 15 branches in 20 provinces and cities nationwide, with more than 10,000 regular members.

Over the past 3 years, the association has organized many trade connection events for members with domestic and foreign manufacturers and suppliers.
Within the framework of the founding anniversary celebration, there was also a ceremony to announce the strategic cooperation agreement between the Vietnam Door Association and Apollo Silicon Joint Stock Company, and to compete in the first Vietnam Door Association Golf Tournament.
At the same time, the association also announced plans for an exhibition and the launching ceremony of the Hanoi Branch with nearly 2,000 members attending, to be held in early November.
According to the Vietnam Door Association, the domestic door industry covers all areas related to the formation of door sets and their practical use in socio-economic life. Specifically, it includes the entire supply chain of door industry materials (plastic, aluminum, glass, stainless steel, accessories, etc.), manufacturing, processing, construction and installation, etc.
In terms of value, the total value of housing construction in Vietnam in 2020 - 2022 is about 750,000 billion VND on average. The market value of doors and walls accounts for about 10% of the market value of housing construction, equivalent to 75,000 billion VND.
According to the Vietnam Door Association, there are currently about 45,000 establishments nationwide that produce, process and install door products. Of these, about 1,000 companies and factories directly act as a source of door industry materials for the domestic construction market; creating regular jobs for more than 100,000 workers.
