149 newly registered enterprises with capital of nearly 1,100 billion VND

In recent times, the Department of Finance has focused on enterprise development, including strengthening the direction of the implementation of state-owned enterprise restructuring and innovation; implementing key tasks assigned by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 1479/QD-TTg, dated November 29, 2022 on approving the plan to restructure state-owned enterprises and enterprises with state capital for the period 2022-2025.

In early 2025, production and business activities in the province continued to flourish with the number of newly registered enterprises increasing by 13% over the same period.

Along with that, the department has created favorable conditions for enterprises to register their business. In 2024, it granted new registrations to 536 enterprises with a registered capital of 6,800 billion VND; in the first quarter of 2025, 149 enterprises were granted new registrations with a total registered capital of nearly 1,100 billion VND.

Up to this point, Quang Binh has a total number of enterprises in the area reaching 9,180 units, with a total registered capital of more than 123,450 billion VND (an increase of 6% in the number of enterprises and an increase of 7.7% in total registered capital compared to the same period).

However, in the first quarter of 2025, 242 enterprises registered to temporarily suspend operations; 21 enterprises voluntarily dissolved and 85 enterprises resumed operations.

The Department of Finance continues to actively implement and focus on post-audit work, especially for enterprises that operate inefficiently, evade taxes, or have temporarily suspended operations for a long time, to advise on timely and effective handling, creating a healthy and sustainable production and business environment for enterprises in the province.
