Regarding the foreign market, according to Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Thanh, Director of Khanh Hoa Province Department of Tourism, the tourism industry will target the Kazakhstan market when organizing a working delegation to the two cities of Astana and Almaty in late January 2024.
In addition, the province will continue to have a delegation promoting the Chinese market in Shanghai and Hangzhou, Zhejiang province in March; Bangkok - Thailand in April; followed by the US and Japan. In addition, Khanh Hoa also welcomes famtrip delegations from China, Australia, and Thailand to introduce and experience tourism products for travel agencies.
International tourists visit Nha Trang city, Khanh Hoa province
For domestic tourism, the two most anticipated events are the Nha Trang Sea Tourism Festival with the theme: "Nha Trang Pearl Bay Shines Brightly" taking place from June 13 to 16 at April 2 Square. The festival has more than 200 booths introducing tourism services, cuisine, beer festivals, coffee festivals, mineral mud festivals, bird's nest festivals, etc.
In particular, the Nha Trang International Light Bay Festival 2024 with a drone technology performance. In addition to the host team Vietnam, the festival also has 3 teams from India, Korea, and China participating in the performance. "With a series of events, we hope to promote and spread the image of Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa tourism to the domestic and international markets. Thereby completing the set goals, as well as positioning the Khanh Hoa tourism brand" - Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Thanh informed.
In 2023, the number of tourists to Khanh Hoa will reach more than 7.2 million, an increase of 181.6% compared to 2022. Tourism revenue will reach more than 33,000 billion VND, an increase of 142.8% compared to 2022.
