In 2023, the activities of the Committees at all levels and sectors will be maintained regularly. Inter-sectoral coordination to implement the National Strategy on Gender Equality for the 2021-2030 period, the Program on Prevention and Response to Gender-Based Violence for the 2021-2025 period, the Communication Program on Gender Equality to 2030 and programs, projects and plans for the advancement of women and gender equality will be seriously and effectively implemented.

According to the report, the Social Work Center and the Children's Support Fund received and handled 76 cases of gender-based violence and domestic violence, including 72 cases of violence against women and children (accounting for 94.74%). 100% of victims of gender-based violence and domestic violence received counseling, intervention, and support. The rate of perpetrators of domestic violence and gender-based violence who were directly consulted by the Center or advised by local authorities to handle the case reached 96%.

Along with that, 100% of communes, wards and towns have built and maintained the operation of Trusted Addresses - temporary shelters in the community to support vulnerable groups. According to incomplete statistics, there are currently 1,180 trusted addresses - temporary shelters in the city.

However, besides the achieved results, there are still some limitations such as the Committee for the Advancement of Women of some departments, branches and sectors have not properly implemented the regulations on information and reporting regime. Resources for the work for the advancement of women and gender equality in some sectors and localities are still low, not meeting the requirements. There are many changes and rotations of officials working on gender equality and women's advancement at district and commune levels, especially at the grassroots level, officials hold too many concurrent jobs...
