Searching all night for 2 students missing while bathing in the river

On the morning of March 28, speaking with reporters, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Son, Head of the Department of Education and Training of Cam Thuy district, said that Mr. Son is currently at the scene of the incident, and the search for the victims has been vigorously carried out by the police and local authorities since yesterday.

Authorities and families stayed up all night searching for the missing students.

Previously, on the afternoon of March 27, Le Dinh C, a 6A student, Nguyen Van H, a 7C student (both residing in Van Bang - Co Dom village), a student of Cam Van Secondary School, and 2 other students went to the rocky beach outside the Ma River wharf, Tuong Yen village, Cam Van commune (about 300m below the foot of Cam Van bridge under construction) to swim in the river when they drowned, causing 2 students to go missing. At the scene, the family and local people discovered the students' personal belongings including bicycles, 2 pairs of sandals, clothes, hats, etc.

Informing the press, Mr. Pham Thanh Phuong, Principal of Cam Van Secondary School, said that on the afternoon of March 27, these students were absent from school and went out together at home when the above incident happened.
