Director of Hanoi Department of Tourism Dang Huong Giang said that the festival is part of the city's series of tourism promotion events in 2025 to celebrate major national and ethnic holidays, the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) and respond to the National Tourism Year 2025 "Hue - Ancient Capital, New Opportunities", the Hanoi Tourism Gift Festival 2025 is large-scale, elaborately invested and staged, attracting the participation of 80 booths from famous tourist destinations and craft villages of Hanoi and localities nationwide.
According to Ms. Dang Huong Giang, in 2024, the tourism industry will continue to play a role as an economic sector with great influence in the capital with strong growth in both quality and quantity. The total number of tourists to Hanoi will reach 27.88 million, an increase of 12.7% compared to 2023, including 6.37 million international visitors, an increase of 34.8%; total revenue from tourists will reach about 110.66 trillion VND, an increase of 18.5% compared to 2023. Actively contributing to the socio-economic development of the city, creating a solid foundation, an important driving force towards the goal of making tourism a spearhead economic sector and contributing to the implementation of the city's 8% growth target in 2025... Hanoi Tourism Gift Festival 2025 continues the success of previous festival seasons. previous years. The festival honors the cultural heritage values of the capital, through tourism gifts to tell stories about heritage values, urging visitors to experience and preserve memories, thereby spreading the love of Hanoi to domestic and international friends.



The program brings together typical craft villages of the capital, introduces quintessential products with unique handicraft techniques and especially honors two craft villages recognized as members of the World Network of Creative Craft Cities: Bat Trang Pottery Village (Gia Lam) and Van Phuc Silk Village (Ha Dong). At the same time, expand the connection network, develop inter-regional tourism with localities across the country such as Phu Yen province and Co To island district, Quang Ninh province with spaces to introduce the tourism potential of localities.
Within the framework of the festival, there are many attractive activities such as recreating and introducing world cultural heritages, combining traditional crafts towards tourism development, through which each gift is not only an item but also a unique mark of Hanoi. The spaces for displaying, promoting, introducing tourism products and exhibitions include 80 standard booths. In which, the space for experiencing heritage destinations and tourist destinations includes: Hanoi Old Quarter, Old Quarter; World Heritage Site of Thang Long Imperial Citadel; Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam, Hong Van Eco-tourism Area, Thuong Tin...
