It is no coincidence that the saying “The Hung Kings have built the country, we must work together to protect it” still resonates through many generations. It is a reminder, a sacred command. Through thousands of years of ups and downs, the descendants of Lac Hong have never stopped their desire to rise up, to continue the tradition of their ancestors, to make Vietnam famous in every period of history.

Legend has it that Lac Long Quan and Au Co gave birth to a hundred children. Those children went to every region, opened up mountains and rocks, built villages, established hamlets, and built a new life. From the Red River Delta to the majestic Truong Son mountain range, from the coastal areas to the great plateau, every land bears the footprints of Lac Hong's descendants. It is not only a legendary story but also a profound symbol of expansion, discovery, and daring to face challenges.

The Hung King spirit is the will to be self-reliant, the ardent patriotism, the desire for independence and development. That spirit is shown both in war and in each stage of the country's development. When the times change, the descendants of the Hung King know how to protect the border and expand their knowledge, integrate with the world, master science and technology, and lead the country forward with intelligence and courage.

Entering the 4.0 era, Vietnam is facing unprecedented great opportunities. This is no longer the era of wars to defend the country with swords and spears, but a battle to gain a position in the knowledge economy, in sustainable development and in the process of global integration.

Being worthy of being descendants of King Hung today means knowing how to cherish the past and knowing what to do to make the country's future brighter. If in the past our ancestors expanded the territory with pioneering steps, today, the young generation of Vietnam is opening up new horizons with technology, innovation and entrepreneurial spirit.

Images of Vietnamese engineers successfully manufacturing high-tech equipment, scientists diligently researching vaccines, young entrepreneurs daring to think and act, or workers diligently working in modern industrial factories... all are proof of the Hung Vuong spirit in the new era.

In the vast Central Highlands, Dak Nong, from its primitive days to the days of fighting for independence, and then entering the renovation period, has been imbued with the resilient spirit of our ancestors. Dak Nong today is a land that is growing strongly. From a young province, just over two decades ago full of difficulties, it has now gradually asserted its position. Roads have been widened, industrial zones have gradually formed, and vast fields of coffee, pepper, and macadamia have brought a prosperous life to the people.

But more than economic development, Dak Nong is also a land of national solidarity. Kinh, Ede, M'nong and many other ethnic groups live together, working together to build their homeland. In every house, every school, every concrete road in remote areas, there is a faint image of a spirit that is not afraid of difficulties, not afraid of hardships - a spirit that bears the appearance of our ancestors from thousands of years ago.

As the country enters a new era - the era of science and technology, digital transformation and deep integration, the Hung Vuong spirit becomes more important than ever. Dak Nong, like the whole country, cannot be content with its achievements, but must rise even stronger. In the current context, Dak Nong is facing the opportunity to make breakthroughs in all aspects: developing a green economy, high-tech agriculture, sustainable mining industry and eco-tourism. Promoting the application of science and technology, digital transformation and attracting investment are inevitable paths to integrate the province with the general trend of the world.

But the most important thing is the spirit of innovation and creativity. Just like in the past, the Hung Kings not only cared about building the country but also knew how to adapt to nature, exploit resources sustainably, and preserve national culture for the country to last forever. Dak Nong today also needs to take wise steps, both developing the economy, protecting the environment and preserving its own identity.

In particular, during this period, Dak Nong people need to arouse the spirit of daring to think, daring to do, and not being afraid of difficulties. If the previous generation was resilient in opening up new lands and reclaiming land, then today's generation must also dare to step out of their comfort zone, boldly create and make more efforts to build an increasingly prosperous Dak Nong.

A series of timely policies, suitable to the practical requirements of each stage, have been issued by Dak Nong province, concretized into life, achieving quite comprehensive and impressive results in all fields.
During this period, Dak Nong people need to arouse the spirit of daring to think, daring to do, not afraid of difficulties to build an increasingly rich and beautiful Dak Nong.

The Hung King spirit is not something far away, but it is present in every breath of life today. That is when a farmer in the Central Highlands boldly changes the farming model, applying science and technology to increase productivity.

That is when young people in Dak Nong are not afraid to try their hand in the fields of technology and creative startups, contributing to the development of their province. That is when local authorities are persistent and determined to overcome difficulties, creating the most favorable conditions for businesses to invest and people to feel secure in production.

In socio-economic development, Dak Nong always emphasizes the importance of social consensus when organizing implementation.
Dak Nong will be a bright spot, a land full of potential and aspirations to reach far.

We have the right to be proud of what our ancestors left behind, but we also have the responsibility to continue and glorify that tradition. A nation can step strongly into the future only when it knows how to cherish the past and constantly innovate. Dak Nong, with that spirit, will certainly not only be a province in the middle of the great forest, but also a bright spot, a land full of potential and aspirations to reach far.

Hung King's death anniversary is not only a holiday to remember our ancestors, but also an opportunity for each Vietnamese person to reflect on themselves, to ask themselves what they have done to be worthy of their ancestors.

More than ever, this is the time for us to awaken the Hung King spirit within ourselves - the spirit of will, creativity, resilience and aspiration to rise up. And when that spirit still flows in the veins of every Dak Nong person, this land will certainly develop more and more, contributing to the glory of the country, worthy of the advice of our ancestors: "The Hung Kings had the merit of building the country, we, your descendants, must work together to protect the country".
