At the end of the trading session, the price of Robusta coffee on the London floor on October 15, 2024 at 5:30 a.m. was 4,585 - 4,969 tons. Specifically, the delivery period for November 2024 was 4,969 USD/ton, an increase of 141 USD/ton; the delivery period for January 2025 was 4,843 USD/ton, an increase of 165 USD/ton; the delivery period for March 2025 was 4,701 USD/ton, an increase of 159 USD/ton and the delivery period for May 2025 was 4,585 USD/ton, an increase of 158 USD/ton.

Arabica coffee prices on the New York floor on the morning of October 15, 2024, green dominated, increasing by 3.68 - 3.97 cents/lb. Specifically, the December 2024 delivery period was 262.05 cents/lb, up 3.97%; the March 2025 delivery period was 260.55 cents/lb, up 3.91%); the May 2025 delivery period was 258.50 cents/lb (up 3.86%) and the July 2025 delivery period was 255.30, up 3.68%.

The price of Brazilian Arabica coffee on the morning of October 15, 2024 recorded an increase. Specifically, the delivery period for December 2024 was 313.60 USD/ton, up 0.30%; the delivery period for March 2025 was 314.00 USD/ton (up 0.16%); the delivery period for May 2025 was 317.80 USD/ton, up 4.16% and the delivery period for July 2025 was 313.40 USD/ton, up 3.96%.
Robusta coffee traded on the ICE Futures Europe (London exchange) opens at 16:00 and closes at 00:30 (next day), Vietnam time.
Arabica coffee on the ICE Futures US (New York floor) opens at 16:15 and closes at 01:30 (next day), Vietnam time.
For Arabica coffee traded on the B3 Brazil exchange, it will be open from 19:00 – 02:35 (next day), Vietnam time.

Domestic coffee prices were updated at 4:30 a.m. on October 15, 2024 as follows: The domestic coffee market today decreased in key localities, an average decrease of 100 VND/kg, ranging from 113,100 - 113,600. Currently, the average purchase price in the Central Highlands provinces is 113,600 VND/kg, the highest purchase price in Dak Lak and Dak Nong provinces is 113,600 VND/kg.
Specifically, the coffee purchase price in Gia Lai province (Chu Prong) is 113,500 VND/kg, down 100 VND/kg; in Pleiku and La Grai it is 113,400 VND/kg. In Kon Tum province, the price is 113,500 VND/kg, down 100 VND/kg; In Dak Nong province, coffee is purchased at 113,600 VND/kg, down 100 VND/kg.
The price of green coffee beans (coffee beans, fresh coffee beans) in Lam Dong province in districts such as Bao Loc, Di Linh, Lam Ha, coffee is purchased at 113,100 VND/kg, an increase of 100 VND/kg.
Coffee prices today (October 15) in Dak Lak province; in Cu M'gar district, coffee is purchased at about 113,600 VND/kg, and in Ea H'leo district, Buon Ho town, it is purchased at 113,500 VND/kg.
In September 2024, Vietnam exported 51,369 tons of coffee, earning 286.9 million USD, down from the previous month but up from last year. Total coffee exports in the first 9 months of 2024 reached 1.1 million tons, worth 4.31 billion USD, down in volume but up in value compared to 2023.
The average export price in the first nine months of the year was $3,896 per tonne, up 56% year-on-year. September recorded the highest average export price ever at $5,469 per tonne.
The EU continues to be Vietnam’s largest coffee export market, accounting for 39% of total volume and 38% of total value, with 431,231 tons and a value of nearly 1.64 billion USD. Although coffee exports to countries such as Germany, Italy, Belgium, and France decreased due to supply constraints, the value still increased.
Global coffee prices fell despite the ICO reporting record exports. Global coffee exports reached 110 million bags in the 11 months, reflecting ample supplies. Global Robusta coffee rose 5.6% year-on-year, with Brazil, India and Indonesia being major contributors.
Robusta coffee exports from these three countries increased by 36% year-on-year in August 2024. Vietnam’s coffee exports fell by 12.1% to 24.09 million bags, indicating a real decline in supply.
Despite falling export volumes, rising coffee export prices helped Vietnam achieve record revenue of $4 billion in the first nine months of the year.
Although Vietnam’s coffee exports decreased in volume in the first nine months of 2024, the export value increased thanks to high average coffee prices. The EU remained the largest export market, while global coffee prices fell due to abundant supply.
