(NLDO) - An observatory in Chile has captured two "inexplicable" objects related to life.
The ALMA observatory in Chile has captured two strange objects located 30,000-40,000 light years from Earth, with properties that scientists describe as "inexplicable".
According to SciTech Daily, they are two icy interstellar objects. But unlike typical interstellar ice masses, these objects have no surrounding dust, emit unusual energy signatures, and contain surprisingly high levels of silicon monoxide.

There seem to be only two ways to explain them. One, that they are a completely new class of interstellar object, never before described by science. Two, that they are an object created by aliens.
Of course, scientists still lean towards the first hypothesis.
The unusual nature of these two objects may indicate a previously unknown environment where the key molecules of life could form, according to researchers from Niigata University and the University of Tokyo (Japan) writing in the scientific journal The Astrophysical Journal.
The significant difference in their velocities suggests that these objects are kinematically independent and located at different distances from Earth.
Wandering outside known star-forming regions, these two objects show only molecular emission lines of carbon monoxide and silicon monoxide.
The signature of carbon monoxide is one of the space biomarkers that scientists are always looking for.
Meanwhile, such abundant amounts of silicon monoxide are typically only found in regions where interstellar dust is being destroyed by powerful shock waves.
This suggests that they are related to an energy source that is causing strong disturbances in space.
When compared to known interstellar ices, coming from regions where newly forming stars, young stars with protoplanetary disks, evolved stars showing signs of rapid mass loss, stars shrouded in dense clouds... nothing makes sense.
Scientists hope that with powerful tools like ALMA or the James Webb Space Telescope, some similar objects will gradually be revealed, providing clues about where they were born and helping to explain more comprehensively the origin of life in the universe.
