On the afternoon of April 18, Saigon Tourist Group held a Conference on Advanced Models for the period 2020 - 2025 at Rex Hotel, Ho Chi Minh City.
Mr. Truong Duc Hung, General Director of Saigontourist Group, said that in the period of 2020-2025, immediately after the COVID-19 pandemic was completely controlled, the corporation built many programs to stimulate domestic tourism, promote products to attract people's attention, contributing to reviving the tourism industry.
"From 2023 to now, the corporation has implemented new development strategies with the goal of affirming Vietnam's leading tourism position and contributing to the goal of building Ho Chi Minh City into a regional tourism center. At the same time, contributing to the implementation of Resolution 98/2023/QH15 on piloting specific mechanisms and policies for the development of Ho Chi Minh City" - Mr. Truong Duc Hung said.

Speaking at the conference, Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Van Dung stated that in recent times, the patriotic emulation movement at Saigontourist Group has had many specific and practical models and actions; contributing to spreading the spirit of overcoming difficulties, strengthening discipline, improving service quality and developing the brand.
Saigontourist brand image continues to be affirmed in both domestic and international markets, maintaining its role as a key enterprise of Ho Chi Minh City in the tourism and service sector.
According to Mr. Truong Duc Hung, Saigontourist Group is increasingly affirming its position as one of the leading tourism brands in Vietnam.
Entering the 2025-2030 period, the strong shift of the global tourism market, along with the increasing demands of tourists, requires innovation in growth models, restructuring operations, improving competitiveness and sustainable development.
In this context, Vice Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Van Dung said that Saigontourist Group needs to continue transforming its management model, improving the efficiency of resource use, expanding international markets, developing new tourism products and implementing the Saigontourist brand development strategy to 2030, with a vision to 2045.
In recent times, patriotic emulation movements and the replication of advanced models of Saigontourist Group have been widely and strongly deployed throughout the system, receiving positive responses from many cadres and employees, bringing many good results in production and business.
On this occasion, Saigontourist Group also awarded certificates of merit to 11 typical advanced collectives and 55 individuals at the corporation level, who have made great contributions to the overall development of the entire system in the period 2020-2025.
