Ho Chi Minh City National University cooperates with Dong Thap province to implement Resolution 57-NQ/TW

Cooperate in training at least 100 masters and doctors at home and abroad according to the province's needs, support educational quality assessment and build a quality assurance system at educational institutions in Dong Thap province.

Cooperate in building specific institutions and policies; develop a breakthrough research program on high-tech agricultural development in Dong Thap province.

Along with that, cooperate in digital transformation, apply and develop information technology, technology serving digital transformation; build a startup and innovation ecosystem.

The two sides also coordinated and effectively used infrastructure and resources to realize key tasks in the fields of science, technology, innovation and digital transformation, as well as cooperated in the Green Summer Program.

Also at the ceremony, the People's Committee of Dong Thap province, Ho Chi Minh City National University and Vinh Hoan Joint Stock Company signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation with the aim of bringing scientific and technological activities to effectively serve the common development of the three units.

This is the first "3-house" cooperation model (School-Locality-Enterprise) that Ho Chi Minh City National University has implemented to concretize activities in the spirit of Resolution No. 57.

Specifically, Dong Thap province, Ho Chi Minh City National University and Vinh Hoan Joint Stock Company will cooperate in the following areas: Training and development of high-quality human resources; research and development of advanced technologies in breed development, production and processing of aquatic products, agricultural products, natural products, biological enzymes in environmental treatment... suitable to the needs of Dong Thap province and Vinh Hoan Joint Stock Company.

The parties also cooperate in researching, developing and replicating digital transformation models in production management, digitizing data for aquaculture; building a circular economic model, aiming for net zero emissions (Net Zero) for land areas planned as freshwater storage areas combined with sustainable aquaculture in Dong Thap province.
