Xiaomi 14 has attracted the attention of the technology community as the first smartphone of this manufacturer equipped with HyperOS from the factory. According to Xiaomi, the new operating system has optimized advanced memory and file management processes, and improved interface to be more user-friendly.
In addition, HyperOS also increases the ability to seamlessly connect devices in the Xiaomi ecosystem, focusing on security and user privacy. Some other features such as AI integration in image-related tasks, library management... thanks to the use of large language models.
In terms of design, the Xiaomi 14 has a square frame, a thin 8.2 mm body with a slightly curved back for better grip. The screen is 6.36 inches in size, with a maximum brightness of 3,000 nits and a refresh rate of 120 Hz.
The device is equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset supporting AI, providing high performance but saving power. Basic RAM capacity is up to 12 GB, with 2 internal memory options of 256 GB and 512 GB in the Vietnamese market.
The 4,610 mAh battery with Xiaomi Surge G1 chipset helps prolong life, 90 W fast charging (wired) and 50 W if wireless charging helps this flagship to fully charge from 0% to 100% in just 31 minutes.
Xiaomi 14 is priced from 23 million VND in Vietnam.
Xiaomi 14 also has a camera cluster co-designed by the famous photography company Leica, called Vario-Summilux. In which, the main lens has a focal length equivalent to 23mm, f/1.6 aperture, 50 MP resolution. The two secondary lenses include a telephoto sensor with a resolution of 50 MP, focal length 75mm, f/2.0 aperture, supporting OIS optical anti-shake, the rest is a 50 MP ultra-wide-angle camera, f/2.2 aperture with a converted focal length of 14mm.
Thanks to the professional triple lens cluster, the focal length range ranges from 14mm to 75mm, Xiaomi 14 is capable of shooting well in low light conditions, with better color reproduction, contrast, resolution, shooting speed and image processing than its predecessor. Xiaomi 14's selfie camera has a resolution of 32 MP, can record video in 4K quality and 60 fps (frames per second).
Notably, the Light Fusion 900 image sensor, which first appeared on a smartphone, significantly improves the light-capturing ability of the Xiaomi 14. The light and dark areas of the image through the Light Fusion 900 sensor will be analyzed and clarified, thereby improving the overall quality. Combined with a high dynamic range of 13.5EV and a color depth of 14 bits, Xiaomi claims that the device can record images with original colors, even in low or complex light conditions.
The device supports filming at the popular 2.39:1 aspect ratio, with many supporting effects such as autofocus and cinematic background blur. The rear camera can record at up to 8K resolution, and the built-in 4-mic array helps record 360-degree sound.
In the Vietnamese market, Xiaomi 14 was launched in 3 colors: Black, White, Jade Green with 2 versions of RAM/ROM 12/256 GB, 12/512 GB with prices of 22.99 million VND and 24.49 million VND respectively.
