Tractor trailer caught fire fiercely on Chuoi Pass

At 4:20 a.m. on August 22, on National Highway 20, at Chuoi Pass (Mađaguội town, Da Huoai district, Lam Dong), driver Vu Van Hau (35 years old, residing in Quang Nam) was driving a tractor-trailer from Bao Loc city (Lam Dong) to Ho Chi Minh City.

When arriving at Chuoi Pass, the driver discovered a fire breaking out from under the cabin of the car, so he stopped the vehicle and used a mini fire extinguisher to put out the fire.

The fire then spread rapidly, engulfing the front of the car.

Upon receiving the news, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team of Region 4 (located in Da Teh district, Lam Dong) dispatched fire trucks and more than 10 officers and soldiers to the scene to put out the fire.

At about 4:40 a.m., the fire was completely contained.

At the scene, the trailer cabin was burned down, causing damage of about 1 billion VND.
