According to the report of Hai Duong City People's Committee, to honor, commend and reward individuals with outstanding achievements, influential in each field, contributing to the construction and development of the city on the occasion of the 220th anniversary of the founding of Thanh Dong and the 70th anniversary of the liberation of the city, Hai Duong City has reviewed, selected, consulted the people and selected 38 typical individuals.

Hai Duong City People's Committee decided to award the title "Outstanding Citizen" to 16 individuals and commend 22 typical individuals in the movement "Thanh Dong People - Good words, good actions".

At the conference, Duong City awarded prizes to 4 art composition contests about Hai Duong City, including: Composing songs about Hai Duong City, writing contest "Hai Duong - The City I Love", photo contest and art photo exhibition and creating model sculptures associated with the urban space of Hai Duong City, civilized, friendly and safe.

The contest had nearly 11,000 entries from numerous authors inside and outside the province. The organizing committee selected 47 representative works to award prizes.

At the hall of the Dong Xu Cultural Center, Hai Duong City organized a thematic exhibition "Dong Thanh Imprint" with 3 topics: Establishment of Dong Thanh in the past - Hai Duong City today; Hai Duong City with the cause of fighting and defending the country and achievements in socio-economic development of Hai Duong City.

Many typical OCOP products of Hai Duong province and other provinces and cities are displayed at the lobby of the Eastern Cultural Center.

The thematic exhibition aims to introduce the formation and development process of the ancient Dong Citadel - Hai Duong City today so that every cadre, party member and people, especially the young generation, can understand more deeply and be proud of the historical and revolutionary traditions and the cause of building and defending the Fatherland of the people of Hai Duong City.
