The 70th anniversary of Hai Phong's liberation and the opening ceremony of the Red Flamboyant Festival - Hai Phong 2025 will be held on the evening of May 13, at the square in front of the Political - Administrative Center in the new urban area of ​​Bac Song Cam, Thuy Nguyen City with a scale of 13,000 delegates. The program is staged with high artistic quality, many innovations and creativity in staging methods and performing arts language to build the image of Hai Phong as a young, modern and dynamic city.

Within the framework of the celebration, there will also be a program to organize a military review and mass parade on the morning of May 11 at the City Theater Square by 32 blocs representing forces and social classes that have united and joined hands in protecting, building and developing the city over the past 70 years.

The city plans to start and inaugurate 7 projects, of which 3 key projects and works are proposed to be eligible to start and inaugurate on May 13, 2025; organize fireworks displays at 6 locations; support 10 million VND/village and residential group to organize activities to celebrate the 70th anniversary of liberation on the same day (May 10); give gifts to people with merit, policy families, former city leaders, doctors, teachers, and meritorious artists; inaugurate a luxury train named Hoa Phuong Do...

At the conference, the leaders of the City Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department oriented the propaganda work in the coming time, emphasizing the need to spread the spirit of major holidays, especially April 30 and the Red Flamboyant Festival.
